Defending Religious Freedom, Challenging Government Hypocrisy
The government picks religious winners and losers. I fight to stop it.
For too long, public officials have selectively promoted Christianity while silencing other voices. Whether in schools, government spaces, or public policy, religious favoritism is unconstitutional. Through legal battles, activism, and public awareness campaigns, I challenge these double standards and force institutions to uphold the First Amendment.
This isn’t about banning religion—it’s about making sure the government follows its own rules. Either everyone gets a seat at the table, or no one does.
Why This Matters
Religious favoritism in public institutions is more than unfair—it’s a violation of constitutional rights. Schools allow church banners but reject others. Government buildings display nativity scenes but deny equal space to minority faiths. Officials censor books they dislike while defending religious texts with the same content.
If we don’t fight back, these policies will continue unchecked. Every challenge forces those in power to make a choice: apply the law equally or admit their bias.
Proven Impact
This activism isn’t just about making noise—it leads to real change.
When Florida passed a book challenge law, I filed a petition to ban the Bible under the same criteria. Rather than face scrutiny of religious texts, lawmakers weakened their own censorship rules.
After a law required “In God We Trust” signs in public schools, I printed them in Arabic and attempted to install them in Texas. The backlash exposed selective outrage—supporters of religious messaging suddenly objected when it wasn’t in English.
When government buildings allowed Christian nativity scenes but rejected other religious displays, I installed Festivus poles and upside-down crosses. Faced with equal treatment, some officials removed religious displays entirely rather than allow full representation.
Every action forces policy shifts, legal reconsiderations, or public debates that wouldn’t have happened otherwise.
Current Battle: Broward County Schools Lawsuit
Broward County Schools approved Christian church banners on campus but denied a “Satan Loves the First Amendment” banner. This is a clear case of viewpoint discrimination. Schools are either public forums for all religious perspectives or for none. We are taking the district to court to demand equal treatment.
This case isn’t just about one banner—it’s about setting a legal precedent. Winning means ensuring that public institutions cannot favor one religion over another. If one faith group is allowed to speak, all must be given the same right.
To win, we need depositions, court hearings, and legal filings. These aren’t cheap. Funding this lawsuit means taking the fight directly to those who think they can pick and choose which beliefs deserve a voice.
